New Elevator Installed at the Computer Center

MSU’s Computer Center elevator was out of service beginning Monday, June 4, 2007, for approximately 10 weeks while a new elevator was installed.
All walk-in services in the building remained open including the MSU Computer Store, the MSU Computer Repair, the Scoring Office, the ACNS walk-in Help Desk, and the ACNS Business Office.
Visitors to the Computer Center were asked to use the stairs when visiting the upper levels of the building.

MSU Faculty Receive AT&T Instructional Technology Awards

Twenty-three faculty and staff members from across Michigan State University’s (MSU) campus received AT&T Faculty-Staff Awards in Instructional Technology, funded by a generous endowment gift by AT&T. Recipients of this year’s awards were recognized for their outstanding contributions in the use and development of information technology for teaching and learning in credit-bearing courses at MSU.
“Online methods have become vital to advancing the effectiveness of instruction and student learning in higher education. MSU’s Libraries, Computing and Technology uses the AT&T Instructional Technology Awards to recognize innovative faculty and staff who are making exemplary contributions to the art and science of online instruction,” said David Gift, MSU’s vice provost for libraries, computing and technology.
