Expected Computing Service Interruptions

For the past several years, Academic Technology Services (ATS) has been upgrading the electrical and mechanical infrastructure in the Computer Center datacenter. These upgrades are now entering the “home stretch” and computing equipment will be physically moved over the winter break. During this same time period, Administrative Information Services (AIS) will be making improvements to the network infrastructure in the Administration Building datacenter. Accordingly, a number of computing services will experience temporary interruptions between December 12 and January 6.
These upgrades are necessary to help ensure the continued performance and reliability of MSU’s information technology services. We have made every effort to schedule these moves during times which should be the least disruptive to students, faculty, and staff.
