The university strives to employ principles of Universal design and use the Web Accessibility Technical Guidelines and standards in the design, implementation, enhancement, and replacement of Web content and services. In doing so, MSU aims to improve access to both current and emerging technologies.

Web Design and Hosting Services

Academic Technology Services (ATS) offers Web site design, Web hosting, and system administration services. The department administers several large systems, including MSU’s main Web site, the library’s catalog system, a central streaming media system, and others. This Web hosting service offers MSU units and MSU-affiliated organizations the ability to put their Web sites online with an Internet name of their choice, in a cost effective way that relieves them from having to manage Web server setup and routine system tasks.
